Thirty Products Is a Shelf, Not a Routine

A long list of approved products is a catalog. Your face can finish about four steps.

Thirty recommendations feel like coverage. They are a shelf. Skin experiences them as conflict if you try to adopt more than one at a time. Acids, retinoids, and fragrant oils do not become gentle because they shared a list. The practical number of steps most people finish on a tired night is small: cleanse, maybe one treatment, a cream. Sunscreen in the morning. Anything beyond that has to be occasional on purpose.

Use a long roundup as a menu you order once from. Pick the gap you actually have. If you remove makeup badly, the balm is the item. If you are flaking, the cream is the item. If you are congested and calm enough to exfoliate, the toner is the item. Leave the other twenty-nine for people with those gaps.

A routine is what you did this week, not what you saved. If the list made you feel behind, that is the list working on your attention. Your skin is not behind. It is waiting for fewer products, used again tomorrow.
