A Launch Date Is Not Proof the Formula Fits

New means available. It does not mean suited to the skin you have this month.

A launch is a calendar event for a company. Your barrier has its own calendar, and it is often a bad week: already peeling, traveling, or three products deep into a previous experiment. The formula can be well made and still be the wrong week, or the wrong job. Availability is not fit. Fit is whether you needed that job and can run it alone long enough to know.

Read a launch for the verb. Does it cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate, or seal. Then look at your shelf and see whether that verb is empty. If it is already filled, the launch is a duplicate with better timing. Duplicates are how people collect. Start the new one only by retiring the old one, and give it a month. A week is the launch talking. A month is your skin.

You do not owe a date your routine. The bottles that matter are the ones still in use after the date has stopped being mentioned. If a formula is still right then, it was never about the launch. It was about the job.
