Holiday Shopping Is Easier When the Gift Has One Job
One clear job beats a set of five products nobody asked to start.

Holiday sets are built to look abundant. Abundance is the problem. Five products means five chances to irritate, and no instruction about order. The person opening it does not know which one is the gift and which one is the filler. Shopping gets easier when you buy a single job. The cleanser. The cream. The hand cream. The lip balm. Or the facial, which is a job performed by a person rather than a bottle.
One job is also easier to match. You can see whether they already cleanse well, or whether their hands are wrecked, or whether they have said they want an hour and never book it. You do not have to decode a kit. If you are tempted by a set, ask which piece you would keep if the rest were discarded. Buy that piece alone.
Wrap it simply. The clarity is the present. They should know, without a pamphlet, where it goes in a day. Cleanse, comfort, or protect. Holiday shopping is hard because the aisles suggest that more is safer. For skin, one finished job is the safer gift, and it is the faster one to choose.
